Foyer screening: Who Cares
Who Cares is a Screen Dance installation inspired by conversations with medical staff on the notion of touch in recent times. It innovates through the manipulation of thermal imaging registering the merging of bodies, the capture of breath, and the painterly abstraction of heat trace.
Who Cares explores a poetic interpretation of the tactile, connecting the worlds of technology, biology and art.
Premiere – Wells Cathedral, Somerset and subsequently shown in Edinburgh, Malta, Cologne and London Fest on Fest 24.
(Who Cares) holds timeless relevance as a moving exploration of intimacy and physical touch, and a troubling of the boundaries of the human body.
