Dreams and Ruins was a large site work for Witley Court in Worcestershire. Angela Woodhouse with collaborator Caroline Broadhead created an installation for the internal space. The artists played with the luxuriousness of its past in contrast to the dirt and grime of Midlands industry, in this case the production of nails, from which the wealth came. The artists drew attention to the floors one covered with nails while the other displayed an ornate carpet of mirror.
