The Waiting Game was commissioned by Rochester City Arts Festival in 1997.
It was created in collaboration with artist Caroline Broadhead (winner Jerwood Prize 1997) and composer David Hastings.
The work took place in and around Upnor Castle, a sixteenth century garrison on the river Medway.
The piece focused on themes of opposing forces, territory and invasion.
The Waiting Game was a beautiful experience. Thank you for having the courage and vision to bring a first rate contemporary work to Rochester.”
